The problem

Newcomers piece the process together from Telegram chats and old blog posts. The information is free. What nobody tells you is whether it fits your passport, your city and your dates, and a missed renewal window costs real money.

What I built

Relokit asks a few questions, picks the permit type that fits and builds a route of steps grouped into kits. It counts your allowed stay by the rules of your own citizenship and reminds you before each deadline. The AI answers only from a checked knowledge base and always shows where the answer comes from.

Key features
Today: what to do now
01

Today: what to do now

The home screen shows your permit, the nearest deadline, the next step and the tools you might need this week. Everything on it is an action. Reading material lives elsewhere.

An assistant that cites its sources

An assistant that cites its sources

Ask about your case and the answer is built from official texts, with the source and the date it was checked. If the base has nothing, the assistant says so and points you to the migration office instead of guessing. It also explains photos of letters, contracts and e-ikamet errors.

Kits with real progress

Kits with real progress

Residence, home, money, daily life and family, each with its own checklist filtered for your permit and family. Steps come with documents, explanations and links, and you can tick them off without opening each one.

A reference you'll actually open
04

A reference you'll actually open

Guides on banks, SIM cards, healthcare and taxes. Migration offices in all 81 provinces, fees, common reasons for refusal and an address check against neighbourhoods closed to new permits.

Everything else it does

Deadlines

  • Allowed stay counted for your citizenship, not a generic 90/180
  • Renewal window, address registration, insurance and passport expiry
  • A trip planner that warns you before you buy a ticket
  • Local reminders, so your dates stay on the phone

AI checks

  • Document set check before the appointment
  • Filled-in e-ikamet form compared with your passport and contract
  • Rental contract and listing review
  • Review of a chat with a landlord, agent or employer
  • Dates found in scans move to the tracker in one tap

Everyday

  • Appointment prep: date, office, document set
  • A living with the card track for current residents
  • Search across guides, steps and tools
  • Support chat inside the app

Under the hood

Retrieval instead of guessing

Answers come from a vector search over verified texts in Supabase with pgvector, and the model is told to refuse when the base is silent. Here a confident wrong answer is worse than no answer.

Dates stay on the device

Deadlines and trips are calculated locally and reminders are local notifications. Personal dates and document photos are never stored on a server.

Updates without a release

Fees, offices and guides arrive as data. When a rule changes, users see it the same day, without waiting for App Store review.

A tone that lowers stress

Short sentences, a concrete next step and a date on every fact. When something is unknown, the app says it plainly.
